Hdmi Not Working Windows 8

Jun 20, 2013  windows 8 hdmi output not working when connecting to a monitor or tv solved!!!! After a lot of messing around and rolling back drivers and installing new drivers from microsoft and asus (I have a zen ultrabook ), I finally stumbled apon the fix for getting the hdmi output to work!! The VGA port is working, while the HDMI port isn`t. My Laptop is a Lenovo y580. I tried to reinstall the drivers, even the Intel graphic 4000 and the NVIDIA one, looked for all updates and every thing seems okay, but I am unable to connect my monitor screen onto the HDMI port.

I have got a Toshiba satellite television with Windows 8. The very first period I connected the hdmi cable to the lcd, it worked excellent not also altering any of the settings of the laptop. HOWEVER, I could not connect once again since then! Vectric vcarve pro 6.5. The lcd display shows no signal and when I attempted to change the Windows setting to copy or lengthen the image to the tv, it does not work, a place up home window says that i should alter some of the configurations though i cannot find what is usually incorrect. I would highly appreciate your help how can i repair the Home windows 8 to find screen on my television as it proved helpful great the initial period I did it a couple of times back and never again.
